We are specialized in extrusion of rigid PVC profiles with complete control over the production process, from the conception of (3d) profiles to formulation of granular chemical compounds suitable for each profile using the most advanced technology on the market.
We sell and distribute all types of indoor and outdoor blinds and components. We offer a wide range of solutions for sun protection, shading and security with automatic lifting mechanisms and home automation.
Promolar is the holder of FALCON® - tubular motor registered trademark, highly renowned on the national and international market.
40 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
Promolar, a family-owned company, was founded in 1979 by José Bento da Silva and his brother Artur.
Blinds and components wholesale and installation were the company’s initial and main activities.
In a subsequent phase, the company broadened its activity and started producing rigid PVC profiles, with special focus on the production of slats, reaching a market share of 40% of PVC blinds in the 1980s and 1990s, being currently the main national manufacturer.
By using an innovative and progressive approach paired with cutting-edge technology and specialized human resources, Promolar has added to the products list a wide range of profiles for the construction industry, insulation, agriculture, farming and decoration, among others.
